Hi — I'm the one writing all of this.
I'm Nicole, and Solo Adventure Mom is not a brand I invented and then went looking for material for. It started because I was already doing this: planning trips, packing the car, getting through airports and figuring out national park reservations as one parent with one kid.
I grew up in western Massachusetts and spent every summer on Cape Cod, went to college in Colorado, spent my early adult years in South Carolina, and landed in Idaho's Treasure Valley with my daughter. That map up top isn't research — it's where we've actually been.
Everything here is the resource I wanted and couldn't find: specific, honest about what's hard, and written for one adult doing the job of two.
